I've noticed an interesting phenomenon with this one: The interior of the hangar is actually way below the outer platform surface. Since there is a gap in the model between those two floors, I am assuming it was a bug that nobody bothered fixing. However this presents me with an interesting opportunity to add some variation to the XQ platforms' otherwise quite similar hangars.
I stuck with the lower hangar floor and actually extended it outward onto the platform, creating a sort of trench-like structure. In doing so I made the hangar itself tall enough so a Lambda-class Shuttle could fit in, something that wasn't possible with the other platforms.
