Dev notes & Origins
While the model has been around for a very long time, it has undergon numerous tweaks and rescalings. Starting off as a shuttle craft I eventually scaled it down to a gunboat, only to, just recently, scale it back up.
The original design also served as base for the Centurion V Transport/Corvette
I am not yet finally set on the Legionaire's classification as a transport, even though it in parts can act as one. It somewhat fills a spot inbetween Very heavy fighter and light transport, somewhat similar to the BX-80 Dragonfly and its variations.
