The Gamma-14 Serpent is a medium Gunship designed for long range patrols and sector authority. Constructed in stock by Mitech Industries, a collaboration with ShiCon Dynamics produced a series of performance and combat upgrades which were incorporated into the base line. Thus the Serpent is available in three distinct versions.
The unmodified stock version is lightly armed and has been released for private buyers. The light combat version has been outfitted with an upgrade module, which features an additional pair of engines plus a defensive turret; this version has been approved and released for security companies and police forces.
The advanced combat variant is military-exclusive and has further been outfitted with two additional upgrade modules, which include two additional turres plus a pair of high capacity warhead lauchers.

Dev notes & Origins
The Cockpit canopy shares some common origins with the Sinicyan AF1 Amazon.
I'm not entirely sure as to which faction I should assign it to. I've somewhat been shuffling it between the Sinicyan Matriarchy or the Khetarian Corporate League. Not sure yet.
This is one of those ships which I just build without any sort of consideration for logic and so I ended up years later thinking "how do you board that ship?" It does have boarding hatches at the sides however, due to its shae landing it will be tricky and boarding would require a 6+ meters tall ramp or gangway.
Delta-19 Basilisk
After releasing the Serpent and with all the knowledge I learned from working on it, I went on and expanded on the original design, greatly expanding the forward section of the ship and almost doubling it in length. The Result was the Delta-19 Basiliask, a more heavily armed Corvette/Frigate hybrid of almost 200m length.
I'm thinking of "upgrading" the Serpent model to the Delta-19 Basilisk, either in addition or a replacement. Also, not sure yet.
