Description
The FX-40 Intrepid-class Frigate is a light frigate designed by Shicon Dynamics for the Briceran royal navy and orbital police force. Like many of Bricera's vessels, it puts an emphasis on speed and performance rather than firepower, which allows it to easily catch or outrun enemy ships.
This speed advantage, however, comes at the cost of relatively weak shields and less durable armor compared to other frigates of equal size.

Dev notes & Origins
I grew kinda fond of the overall way of designs I went with ships like the CSX-600 or the GT-5000, thus decided to push things up a notch, entering the realms 'true' capital ships.
The general concept of a fast and agile frigate was very losely inspired by the SSV Normandy SR2 from the Mass Effect series, a whose model I had recreated for XWA some time earlier.
