The Death Star II Pack is a collection of replacement models for the final mission in the game: The Death Star Tunnel run, created by Blue_Max, Marco Antonio and myself. It includes:
- Entrance + Surface
- Regular Tunnel segments
- Junction + T-Crossing
- Superlaser Focus Chamber
- Reactor Access Tunnel
- Reactor Room + Reactor Core
Arrangement
The way the mission works is that certain "set pieces" are placed in fixed positions, the entrance, The Acceleration Room, the Reactor etc. Everything else - is generated randomly at runtime, as you get close to trigger points linked to these set pieces. This way not only the choice of tunnel element but also its orientation is randomized resulting in a different path layout every time you play the mission.
