Description
Etharin is a Planet in the Thalas-System within the Olympus Cloud. It is the 4th celestial body within the system. It is classified as Off-World.
A violent and inhospitable planet, Etharin has once been victim to a global seismic event of cataclysmic proportions. Caused by millennia of pressure building up beneath the planet's unusually dense and durable crust, eventually the weakest spots gave way and fissures tore open all across the planet, spewing tremendous amounts of gasses and sulfur into the atmosphere, gradually poinsonin Etharin.
Despite its hostile and adverse nature, the planet has yet drawn numerous mining colonies, shortly after its discovery, thanks to the large amounts of ore and valuable minerals that are utterly pouring out and waiting to be collected.
Geology & Climate
Etharin is a barren and volcanic planet, its rocky blackened surface splintered with deep seismic cracks, gleaming with a sulfur hue. Unlike its neighbour Athan, the planet's thin atmosphere is, while toxic to enhale, at least not harmful to machinery and organisms provided the proper protective equipment.
