Also called the 'Treasure beyond Reach', Athan, blessed with a soil rich of valuable minerals and metals, stands as a symbol of the things that are as desirable as they are unreachable. While its grounds hold an unconceivable wealth of buried treasures the planet's atmosphere conprised of a dense mixture of poisonous and highly corosive gasses and has so far thwarted any attempts of colonization or mining.

Attempts to harvest these gasses as a means of pesticide or weapons have yet to prove successful as the sour mixture could, according to involved sources, not be contained.
