Tarlon Cervis

Born 2475 on Bricera Tarlon Cervis pursued a miilitary career in the Royal Navy and quickly gained prominence and the trust of Briceran Crown Prince Jarris Vaylon. Rising through the Ranks he eventually was appointed to the position of Supreme Commander of the Briceran Royal Navy.

Early Life

Tarlon was born in Tryclon City on Bricera as second son of a merchant. With an fondness for space travel he joined the Briceran fleet academy and, graduating with 19 and gaining a position as second navigator on a small patroll ship at the age of 20. A few years later he was promoted captain and is given his first command over a ship. Ascending in rank and reputation he eventually gained the attention of young Briceran crown prince Jarris Vaylon, who, like himself was an outspoken critic of acting Overlord Sorrin's policy of appeasement and passivity towards the rivalling Khisar clan. Sharing their concerns the two secretly gathered further supporters and began making preparations for an open conflict, which they both believed to be inevitable.

At the eve of war near the end of the Hedrecian Feud Cervis was in command of a small patrol flotilla of ships stationed near the border to Torlacian territory, when they received a distress call from the Briceran Overlord's royal cruiser which had been intercepted and had come under attack by  Torlacian assassins. With the royal cruiser already damaged, his fleet arrived just in time to fight off the opponents and save the Overlord. This brave action gained him great favor and commendation from the Overlord himself. As such, Tarlon Cervis was promoted to become the youngest Admiral in Briceran history at the age of 30.

During the following years he gaine more and more responsibility within the Briceran Fleet hierarchy. At the time of the foundation of the United Planets Alliance, Cervis was elevated to the newly formed rank of UPMF Supreme Commander, forming the UPMF Supreme Circle alongside his Cophuranee and Sinicyan counterparts - Ray Firkis and Alyn Yadrec

Cervis' steep career comes to a sudden end during the Battle for Bricera, when he is killed in an attempt to prevent the kidnapping of Lady Shiromy Vaylon by Khetarian Separatists.

• The character's original name was Sagorota, sort of derived from the aircraft Carrier 'Saratoga' because ... Reasons? Don't ask me why, I was a kid and liked the sound of the name.
